The task was to design and manufacture two tilting carriages for a welding system. The device must transport various components weighing up to 18 tons into the welding cell and swivel to +90/+45/0/-45/-90°. Construction began in January 2023. A favorite quickly emerged from the concepts created. This was then designed, detailed and refined until the summer. Production of the trolleys began in September. The main assemblies, the frame and the plate, were assembled and welded in our metalworking shop before the mechanical processing began on our boring mills. The assembly of the components, including the hydraulic hoses, was carried out in our assembly department. After successful test acceptance at our premises, the trolleys were transported to their destination.
