Trolley
From the design to the finished trolley.
The task was to design and manufacture 2 carriages that transport a component weighing up to 18 tons into the welding cell. The component is then swiveled into the welding position. There are 5 possible positions (90/45/0/-45/-90°)
The swivel movement is divided into a main stroke and a secondary stroke. The main stroke is responsible for the positive and negative 45° movement. The secondary stroke swivels the device to the final 90°.
The trolley is driven by a servomotor, the swiveling is hydraulic and a small pneumatic unit is also installed. The individual functions are controlled via the PLC program.
The trolley is a project for the entire ÖSWAG, because almost all departments were involved.
