Machining technician (m/f/d)

As a machining technician, you will be responsible for machining workpieces according to drawings, as well as programming the machine.

 

Your tasks

  • Independent clamping of workpieces (on own initiative and without specifications)
  • independent programming on Siemens 840C, Siemens 840D (no operating personnel)
  • Documentation and archiving of the created NC programs (DNC system)
  • Selection of suitable machining tools
  • read and understand technical drawings
  • responsible for the correct use of cutting tools (cutting data, chip depths, etc.)
  • Perform simple calculations (speeds, angle functions, bolt hole circles, etc.)
  • Assembling tools and measuring on presetting equipment
  • Extensive knowledge of the processing of a wide variety of materials

Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship as machine tool operator or cutting technician
  • several years of relevant professional experience an advantage
  • open and team-oriented behavior
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and willingness to undergo further training
  • good German language skills

Remuneration is based on the collective agreement for the metalworking industry. The minimum monthly gross salary for this full-time position is EUR 2,560. However, the actual salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.
